Yahr, Anna A. (11 APR 1891 - 28 DEC 1983)

Unity - Anna A. Yahr, 92, Unity, Wis. died at 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Colonial House of Colby.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Colby United Methodist Church.  The Rev. Kenneth Barnes will officiate and burial will be in the Colby Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until services time at the church.

She was born April 11, 1891 in Unity.  She attended Columbia University in New York and taught at the Buckley School in New York.  She never married and spent summers in Unity.

She was a member of Colby Methodist Church, served as a Sunday school teacher; was a member of its Ladies Aid; and a charter member of the Anna Garden Club in Unity.

Surviving are two sisters, Minnie Cook and Mayme Yahr, both of Colby.  She was predeceased by a sister and brother.

The Maurina Funeral Home in Abbotsford is handling arrangements.
