East Lynn (24 February 1911)

 

Emil Lindow, Will and Charles Guk returned from Tripoli last Saturday where they have been employed the past month in a logging camp.  The trio arrived in good condition, both mentally and physically.

 

The little son of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Quicker was christened in the Lutheran Church in Fremont last Sunday.  The youngster hereafter will be known as Master Herbert.

 

Fred Kleinschmidt and family spent Sunday with Peter Jensen near Lynn.

 

Herman Keller made a business trip to Marshfield and Granton Monday.

 

Mrs. WM. Neinas of Sauerkraut City is reported somewhat under the weather.

 

Louis Sternitzky attended the Masquerade dance at Nasonville last Friday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Jensen made a business and pleasure trip to Chili Monday.

 

Mrs. E. Steinbach’s sister, Ida who has been visiting the former the past few weeks returned to her home Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Eide of Fremont were Marshfield callers between trains Monday.

 

August Puscheck celebrated his birthday last Wednesday evening.

 

When Louis Sternitzky was asked the other day if Burdick’s high bluff was drawing his attention that caused him to make regular trips regardless of blizzards and hailstorms or if there was some other attraction, he sad that "it is nobody’s business, only my own."
