The groundhog certainly knew its business this year. At least after a few nice warm days it certainly has been turning foggy, nasty and finally quite cold again. No man ought to dispute Mr. Groundhog’s knowledge of the future any more.
Degener has a few tons of No. 3 yellow corn left which can be had at a low price if bought at once.
The Chili Business Men’s Association will give a Masquerade basket social Saturday night. Come and see the newest and latest out. A good time is guaranteed to all comers.
Vivian Degener visited with Neillsville friends Wednesday.
Nothing special was prepared to celebrate Washington’s Birthday.
The Club met Wednesday night in the usual manner.
Several new National cash registers are bought and will soon be in operation.
Miss Bertha Bealer attended the dance at Granton Tuesday night.
Mrs. Herman Montag visited friends at Granton between trains Wednesday.
