Johnson, Gustav (1891? - 22 FEB 1958)

 

Gustav, Johnson, 66, route 1, Gilman, died at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire on Saturday afternoon.  Funeral services were held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stanley at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

 

The Rev. S.M. Salveson officiated and burial was made in Evergreen Cemetery.  Military services were conducted by the Stanley American Legion and the VFW at the cemetery.

 

Mr. Johnson was born in Valders, Wis.  He was a veteran of World War I.  He was a member of the Sons of Norway Lodge.

 

Survivors include three brothers, Carl of Stanley, John of Chippewa Falls, and Oscar of Spokane, Wash., two sisters, Mrs. Peter Anderson of Golden Colo., Mrs. A.B. Pierce of Madison.
