Globe (31 January 1963)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Jr., and daughters were dinner guests of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr., Sunday, honoring his mother’s birthday.  Also present were Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ruzic of Milwaukee.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kalsow entertained at dinner Saturday evening Mr. and Mrs. Hans Kalsow and son, Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family and William Oldham.  Evening guests included Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Sternitzky and daughter, Granton; Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Mech and daughter, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer and Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow. The gathering was held in observance of Mr. Kalsow’s birthday.  A lunch was served.  Mr. Kalsow returned to Milwaukee Sunday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wegner, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Thoma and Mr. and Mrs. Louis Hagedorn spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr., in honor of Mrs. Grap’s birthday.

 

The Weston Local of the Farmers Union will not meet Friday evening but will meet February 8, instead.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma are the parents of a son born at Memorial Hospital Sunday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beyer visited Mr. and Mrs. Nathan Markham Wednesday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Otto Sternitzky and family and her father, Ed Kalsow, spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Paul Klauer, and were supper guests there.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Roland Kalsow of Neillsville called on his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow, Sun. afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ruzic of Milwaukee spent the weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Grap, Sr.  Monday they returned home, taking her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ferdinand Grap with them for a visit with their children and grandchildren.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Thoama (Thoma) were dinner and supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Appleyard Sunday.

 

Louis Dux attended a meting at Westby Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Henchen and family spent Sunday afternoon with Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and daughters.
