Mucha, Helen A. (28 December 1921 - 23 September 2011)
Helen A. Mucha, age 89, of Warrens, WI, formerly of Thorp, WI, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2011, at Agape Acres at Warrens, WI. She was born on December 28, 1921, to Michael and Catherine Kazimer in Chicago, IL.
She was united in marriage to Walter Mucha on February 9, 1942. They lived in Lublin, where they farmed. They moved to Chicago until Walter retired and then they moved to Thorp. They later moved to the Tomah area to be closer to the family. She loved cooking, gardening, sewing and crocheting.
She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Walter; a daughter, Catherine (Kurt) Wabrowetz of Tomah; granddaughter, Karen (Kevin) Ewing of Camp Douglas; a grandson, Scott (Ericka) Van Den Heuvel of Mukwonago; great-grandsons: Jimmy, Jacob, and Landon, all of Camp Douglas; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Catherine; and brothers: John, Paul and Edward Kazimer.
The Torkelson Funeral Home, Black River Falls, is assisting the family with private arrangements.
