There is a hardware man in an nearby town who can’t either read or write. He orders all of his goods by drawing a picture of the article he desires and puts down 10 or 15 or whatever number he wants. Once he ordered six ranges (stoves) but he forgot to draw the griddle holes, so they sent him six large piano boxes.

Kindly attend to your own business, whether you wear glasses or not. Never trouble, trouble till trouble troubles you, and be sure that the trouble is in your line of business. Sweep in front of your own door and you’ll have a good clean path or everlasting lie. Don’t try and pull that sliver out of another’s eye and thereby forget that soft Elm hand spike in your own eye. Do onto others as you would want them to do unto you.
