Foemmel’s Corners (3 March 1911)
Mrs. Nonhof visited friends in Granton last Friday.
Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer came Saturday to spend a few days here with her parents.
Carl Foemmel from Moorhead, N. D. writes that he will be here for Easter if nothing happens.
Frank Rogers took the 3:45 train for Neillsville Saturday.
Truman Davis was taken suddenly ill Sunday morning with a light attack of pleuo pneumonia, but is greatly improving under the car of Dr. Ross.
Mr. and Mrs. John Pietenpol took dinner with Al Nonhof and family Sunday.
Fred and Scott Davis, Emil Krause, Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Pietenpol, Mrs. Scott Davis called on Truman Davis Sun.
August Foemmel attended the pie sociable near Chili Thursday evening.
Mrs. Herman Roehl spent Tuesday with her mother Mrs. Ackerman.
Dan Hefty and Stillman Huntley left Tuesday for Green County where they expect to work this summer.
Mrs. John Pietenpol called on Aunt Betsy Ide one day last week and found her able to sit up.
Loren Hales is working for Al Nonhof this week.
Mrs. George Frei had a rag sewing bee at her home last Monday.
