Mr. and Mrs. Herman Montag of Chili came over and spent Sunday with relatives.

 

Mr. and Mrs. R.C. Norman were business callers in Neillsville Saturday.

 

George Brooks had a telephone placed in his home just recently.

 

James and Melvin Ure of Neillsville are visiting relatives in this place since Xmas.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Teatz were visitors at Geo. Brooks’ Sunday.

 

Miss Emma Altenburg has been on the sick list for several days.

 

Mr. A. Rueth of Sun Prairie transacted business here Saturday.

 

John Ure presented to his daughters a new organ for Christmas.

 

Mr. and Mrs. O.W. Becker spent Sunday with A.W. Beil and family near Chili.

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. Martin entertained the Max Opelt and R.T. Washburn families for Xmas dinner.

 

The Misses Bertha and Elda Helm visited relatives in East Lynn one day last week.

 

Miss Elsie Nygard of Oshkosh is visiting the Henry Sternitzky family.

 

Max Opelt and daughter Lillie autoed to Neillsville Saturday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt were invited guests at H.B. Holmes’ in Granton for supper Monday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Simpson of Lindsey visited Mrs. R.T. Washburn one day last week.

 

Fred Hankey and family spent Sunday with Ernest Keuer’s.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Henry Sternitzky, Lovilla and Walter went to Marshfield, Thursday.

 

Mr. Drescher of the Ridge is visiting Carl Opelt this week.

 

F. Helm and Ed Sternitzky have new furnaces place in their homes this week.

 

Dr. Simonson of Tomah was seen in town between trains on Monday.

 

The John Altenburg family took Christmas dinner with the C. Altenburg family in East Lynn.

 

Mrs. Henry Sternitzky was suddenly called to Wausau this week in reponse to a message of sickness of her daughter Helen who is visiting friends at that place.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt entertained the John Martin and R.T. Washburn families for supper Sunday evening.

 

Mrs. Norman of Merrillan came over Christmas and spent the day at the E.F. Brooks home.

 

Miss Freda Williams visited her grandma Scholtz at Romadka on Thursday.

 

Miss Hazel Washburn visited Mable Broker at Lindsey Tuesday and Wednesday.

 

Miss Edna Scholtz is a guest of Mrs. J. Breseman this week.
