Wiernasz, Edmund H. (10 DEC 1915 - 19 MAR 1958)
Edmund Wiernasz, 42, passed away at the Spears Hospital at Denver, Colo., on Wednesday, March 19, 1958. Death was caused by Multiple Sclerosis, with which he had been ill for over a year.
Edmund Henry Wiernasz was born in Racine, Wis., on Dec. 10, 1915. He came to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) with his parents in 1930, and has resided here since that time. Being unmarried, he lived with his widowed mother, Mrs. Andrew Wiernasz.
Edmund was a dealer in livestock and also engaged in trucking. He was well and favorably known to Thorp citizens and farmers in this community.
He elaves to mourn, his mother, three brothers, Benny and John of Thorp, and Frank of Milwaukee, two sisters, Florence, Mrs. Lyle Asselin and Helen, Mrs. Richard Gac of Thorp.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Francis Piekarski at St. Hedwig’s Church here at 10:00 o’clock Monday morning, March 24th, with interment following in St. Hedwig’s Cemetery. Military rites were accorded at the grave by members of Cecil Tormey Post No. 118 of the American Legion. Pallbearers were John Padolak, Tony Swierowski, Chester, Sniegowski, Raymond Giwojna, Bruno Lato and Jos. Pawlak Jr.
Persons from out of town here to attend the funeral services were: Mr. Frank Wiernasz, Milwaukee; Mrs. Paul Wiernasz, Miss Louise Wiernasz, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Habermas and Nancy, Mr. and Mrs. John Nirmic, Mrs. Mike Nirmic, Mr. Henry Roek and Mrs. Stanley Paran, all of Racine, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Al Trask, Menomonie and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Lever of Chippewa.
