Cartwright, Jason (? - September 25, 1886)
At Waterman station, near this place, on Saturday, Jason Cartwright, a farmer, was killed by a large stone he was excavating falling backward upon him.
Cartwright was in the hole beside the stone engaged in putting up braces, when the bracing suddenly gave way, letting the stone sink backward upon him.
The deceased leaves a widow and family in good circumstances. His former home was Sun Prairie, Wis.
