Mr. and Mrs. Jule Jacobson of Reedstown were recent weekend guests of her sister, Mrs. Aleda Van Winter.
Mr. and Mrs. Oliver Smith and family visited recently with Mr. and Mrs. Joe Simmitt and family in Wisconsin Rapids.
Mrs. Orvis Burnett spent an afternoon at the Joseph Reichenbach home in Wrightsville.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kearney and family of Prentice, and Dick Kearney of Milwaukee were recent weekend guests of their mother, Mrs. Vivian Kearney. Sunday Mr. and Mrs. Tom Kearney and family of Alma Center came over and they all enjoyed the day together.
James Larson of Janesville spent Saturday with the DeVan Staples’.
Mrs. Orvis Burnett enjoyed a pleasant birthday Sunday when Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Steele and family of Black River Falls, Lee Strong, Joe Forsting, Mrs. Everett Galster and family came for the afternoon. Mrs. Steele and Mrs. Galster each brought a birthday cake and they all enjoyed cake and ice cream for lunch.
Mrs. Margaret Aeschbacher spent the weekend at home from her work in Madison.
Mr. and Mrs. Herman Janke of Black River Falls spent Sunday afternoon with the Douglas Janke’s.
Mr. and Mrs. Ray Duxbury spent Sunday afternoon with the Leland Duxbury’s and helped Frank Decorah with a pre-birthday celebration.
Mrs. Orvis Burnett spent Saturday afternoon with Mrs. Adolph Thompson.
