Mr. and Mrs. Linus Prock are making an indefinite visit with their daughter, Mrs. John McKenzie, and her family in Bettendorf, Ia., and also are visiting their grandson, Maynard Prock and his family there.
Miss Lois Howard of Milwaukee is spending two weeks with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard. Mrs. Howard returned home Saturday from Eau Claire, where she had been a hospital patient.
Mr. and Mrs. John Hemp of La Crosse were weekend guests of her sister, Mrs. Oscar DeMert, and her family.
Joe Urban of Sturgeon Bay spent several days last week with his sons, Joe and Bob Urban and their families.
Mrs. John Tibbett and son have returned to Rockford, Ill., after spending several days with her mother, Mrs. Sylvia Kurth, who has been ill. Mrs. Kurth resumed her teaching duties at the Northside School last week.
Mrs. James West is now convalescing at her home following several weeks of care in Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Lou Neff is teaching for Mrs. West in the Pine View School.
Walter Wagner was taken last week to Memorial Hospital for tests and diagnosis. His condition is improved.
Mrs. Jim Milton visits frequently with her sister, Mrs. Earl Tompkins, at Memorial Hospital, where Mrs. Tompkins has been a patient for the last two years.
Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lynch have rented the Dick Galinski house on Court Street and plan to move in the latter part of this week.
A round of moving was in progress last weekend when the Tom Meredith family moved onto the Norman Lynch farm in the Town of Pine Valley. Mr. and Mrs. Lynch, who purchased the Harry Carl home on Grand Avenue moved Saturday, while Mr. and Mrs. Carl completed moving Friday onto the Mike Rizner farm in the Town of Washburn. Mrs. Gerelda Larsen and Deon moved Sunday into the house vacated by the Meredith family.
