Romadka (10 March 1911)
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Zeise and son left here February 25th for Owatonna, Minn., visiting his relatives for a short time before going to Clara City, Minn., their future home.
Mrs. N. Dubes is slowly recovering from her illness.
Mrs. Dora Garbisch spent nearly all winter here at Fred’s, has taken up her domicile at Paul Garbisch’s again.
A surprise party was given to Ernest Robinson last week Wednesday in honor of his birthday. All report a good time.
A wreck occurred here on the St. Paul Friday when one car jumped the track, blockading the upper section on the extension entirely. Traffic is still at a standstill.
W. G. Gerlach made a business trip to Loyal Friday.
Miss Selma Handt left for Minneapolis again after spending a month here with her sister Mrs. H. Schlinsog.
Miss Emma Kempin made an over Sunday stay at home, returning Monday.
Frank Downer has the misfortune of losing one of his horses which he bought at Latamore’s auction.
James Scoles, mother and daughter went to Richland County last week for an extended stay.
Our district school closed for a two months vacation.
There will be a meeting Saturday night, March 11, at W. G. Gerlach’s cheese factory. Everybody interested is invited to attend.
