Chili (10 March 1911)
The recent snow took a sudden departure Tuesday and Wednesday.
Mr. and Mrs. Emil Breseman came to Chili early Wednesday morning to stay with Degener’s for a week or so.
Mr. John Hefte bought out the interest of J. W. Bailey’s meat market and opened the shop Monday morning. Mr. Hefte has had years of experience in this business and promises to have on hand at all times a good supply of meats of all kinds. Give him a trial.
Keller’s announced auction day brought a good crowd of intended buyers to Chili, filling the streets and by ways.
Some corn left yet at Degener’s warehouse. He also carried a full line of buggies and farm machinery.
August Prust and Mrs. Tom Gibson were Granton callers Tuesday.
