Al Nonhof made a business trip to Chippewa Falls Monday.

 

Mr. A. Johnson, his family and his mother spent New Year’s Eve at Geo. Frei’s.

 

Last Sunday Emil Krause, his sisters Amelia and Lydia and Lucille Davis drove out to Freeman Dankemyer’s after Louse.  Mrs. Truman Davis and daughter Lila accompanied led them as far as Sam Martin’s.

 

John Pietenpol and Lou Hayden butchered a beef for the former on Monday.

 

Two of Mrs. Storm’s children and two of Mrs. Gerzmehle’s children helped Barbara Frei celebrate her birthday last Sunday.

 

Mrs. W. Foemmel and little Selma called on Effie Davis Thursday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Dan hefty, Mr. and Mrs. Stillman Huntley took supper with Mr. and Mrs. John Hefty in Chili, Sunday.

 

Truman and Eldred Davis took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. John Pietenpol Sunday.

 

Mrs. Rush Wentworth called on Effie Davis Friday afternoon while Rush drove down to the farm.

 

School began again Monday after a two week vacation.

 

Will Roehl visited his brother Herman the first of the week.

 

Mrs. A. Johnson and mother-in-law spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. Truman Davis.

 

Ed Ackerman and daughter Nora and son Clarence were guests of Joe Krause New Year’s.

 

Will Foemmel and family were New Year’s guests of Albert Sternitzky.

 

Herman Roehl and family drove to Grandpa Roehl’s Sunday to partake of a goose dinner.  The goose was sent them by Herman’s sister in Waterloo.

 

Earlo Davis is working for Cash Ide and Murl Sweet is working for W.S. Davis.

 

Elsie Dorst stayed overnight with Lucille Davis Tuesday.

 

Al Nonhof returned home Wednesday.

 

Harry Cattanach, Alfred Johnson, Geo. Frei, John Hefty Sr. and their families, Mrs. Gerzmehle and two children, Mrs. Storm and children were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Z. Schmucki New Year’s night.
