Henry Sternitzky went to Neillsville Monday and from there he went to Wausau to see his daughter who is sick.
Miss Elsie Nygard, who is visiting at the Henry Sternitzky home left the fore part of the week for her home in Oshkosh.
Born to Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Wagner Friday, the 3rd, a boy.
School commenced Monday with Miss Vera Schierholtz of Reedsburg as teacher.
Carl Helm is home from Forest Junction on a several days visit with his parents.
Misses Gertrude and Inez Holmes spent New Year’s Day visiting the Misses Etta and Emma Altenburg.
Ferdinand Gotter and wife of Potter are home to visit their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Gotter.
News was received here that there was born to Mr. and Mrs. Robert Sternitzky, a daughter, just recently.
Mr. and Mrs. Albert Sternitzky entertained a large number of relatives for New Years dinner.
Herman Grohies and family from near Chili, and other friends numbering 12 in all, came out and spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Max Opelt.
Martha and Susie Sternitzky of Marshfield came over to spend New Year’s with friends here, Martha remaining for a week or so and is sewing for Mrs. R. C. Norman.
R.C. Norman left last week for Milwaukee.
Mr. and Mrs. Will Christman spent several days on a visit to their parents Mr. and Mrs. Aug. Gotter before leaving for Spring Valley where they intend to make their future home.
Raymond Brooks left for Madison the fore part of the week to resume his studies in the agricultural department of the university.
C.W. Chubb and son Arthur transacted business at Lindsey the fore part of the week.
