Schultz, Joan June (Marriage - 2 March 1963)
Miss Joan June Schultz of 2023 Edgewood Lane, Eau Claire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Bertie Schultz of Neillsville, and Franklin Larry Zickert, son of Mr. and Mrs. Franklin Zickert, Sr. of Rt. 3, Neillsville, exchanged nuptial vows Saturday in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. The Rev. Norman Lindloff performed the double ring ceremony before an altar adorned with baskets of pink and white gladioli.
Mr. Schultz gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a blue suit with black accessories and wore a corsage of sweetheart roses, centered with an orchid.
Miss Sandra Foemmel of Stevens Point served as maid of honor. She wore a gold suit with black accessories and wore a corsage similar to that of the bride. Dennis Larsen of Neillsville was bestman.
"O Promise Me" and "Jesus Lead Thou On" were sung by Miss Foemmel, accompanied by Victor Lehman.
A reception was held in St. John’s Lutheran School.
Both Mr. and Mrs. Zickert are graduates of Neillsville High School. The bride is attending a beauty culture school in Eau Claire and has completed a year of study at Stout College. The groom is engaged in milk hauling.
