Stremikis, Anthony Charles (? - 5 March 1963)

 

Anthony Charles Stremikis, 59, died on March 5, at the Veterans Hospital in Madison after a lingering illness.

 

Mr. Stremikis was born in Streator, Ill., where he grew to manhood and received his education.  Later he came with his dad and brothers to Willard, where they were engaged in farming.  Mr. Stremikis had worked out for various people in our community, and served in the armed forces during World War II.

 

Funeral services were held Saturday at 10 a.m. with a requiem high mass from the Holy Family Catholic Church in Willard, the Rev. Mirko Silvester officiating.  Burial was made in the parish cemetery. The funeral was held with military rites.

 

Pallbearers were: Frank Morgal, John Pernic, Rudy Volk, John Tolaney, Joe Hribar and Frank Perushek.

 

Surviving are his three brothers, August and Jerome of Willard; and Charles, address unknown.
