Helm, Carl (25 July 1891 - 5 March 1963)
Funeral services were conducted at 2 o’clock Saturday in Brillion for Carl Helm, 72, former resident of this area (Lynn), who died at his home there March 5 of a heart attack.
Carl was born July 25, 1891, in Lynn. After his school days he farmed at Brillion, where he was married to Emma Steinbach of Brillion on June 26, 1913. Emma and a son died in 1930. Later he was married to Lillian Freidrech.
Survivors include his wife and two sons, Clarence and Ronald of Brillion; two grandchildren; five sisters and two brothers.
Among relatives who attended the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Louis Helm, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Garbisch, Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Garbisch, Mrs. Elda Bartz, Mrs. Ray Nowack, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Helm, all of Granton; Mr. and Mrs. George Guenther of Eau Claire; Mr. and Mrs. Marvin Wench, Ill.; Mr. and Mrs. Elwyn Larson of Janesville; and Erlin Garbisch of Milwaukee.
