Hemmy, Mr. and Mrs. Peter (66^th - 1963)

Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hemmy celebrated their 66^th wedding anniversary in their home Sunday.  Their three children were with them for the day.  They include: Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Hemmy of Mondovi, Mr. and Mrs. Chris Gasser of Baraboo, and Mr. and Mrs. Howard Hemmy of Melrose. 

Mrs. Alice Gansel and son, George joined the family group for dinner and the afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Hemmy are enjoying fairly good health and keep up their home. They attended church services with Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Hemmy and Mr. and Mrs. Chris Gasser Sunday in St. John’s Church.

Mr. Hemmy will celebrate his 88^th birthday Friday.  He still goes after the mail, shops and takes an active interest in the affairs of the town, county and state, and never fails to cast his vote at the polls.  Mrs. Hemmy, just a bit younger, will celebrate her birthday July 16.  Mr. Hemmy is a former Assemblyman.
