Lynn (24 March 1911)
Miss Lillian Opelt and her brother Art were Neillsville callers Saturday, Lillian coming home Sunday morning.
Lynn caucus will be held March 25, at 2 p.m.
Mamie Ure celebrated her 14th birthday last Friday night with a lot of her friends about her.
Now don’t try and get any of Richard Gotter’s chickens and geese by night, as he got himself a night watch (called a dog) and you will be sorry if you try it.
Otto Becker installed a new 20 horse power boiler in his factory. Now bring in your milk, farmers.
Henry Erhardt’s arm is improving nicely. He stands out in the sun these nice days, looking for some girl to have pity on him.
Max Opelt stepped on a nail Saturday and it was not a finger nail either.
If East Lynn farmers are thinking about hitching up corn cribs to do the work, would it not do a hitch up a couple of 1/4ers so you could follow them easier?
Miss Emma Altenburg has been on the sick list for the past week.
School district No. 1 closes Friday for the spring vacation.
Ray Ure was a Neillsville caller Monday.
Robin Ure invited a number of boy friends in Sunday evening for some warm sugar.
Robert Krause and John Breseman went to Neillsville on Tuesday.
Martha Nitschke came home from Neillsville on Saturday where she has been sewing for a number of years.
Mrs. Montag went to Chili Monday to visit her son Herman and wife for a few days.
Mrs. Max Opelt entertained the Carnation Art Club on Wednesday.
Mrs. G. Reisner and family called on Willie Sternitzky’s on Sunday.
