East Lynn (24 March 1911)

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Guk drove to Marshfield Monday to see the latter’s sister who is at the hospital there.

Mr. Langer who has been staying on what is known as the John Paul farm moved onto Peter Johnson’s place in the Town of Rock (Wood County) last Saturday.

The C. Albrecht and Fred Zuehlke families spent Sunday at Wm. Albrecht’s.

Lydia Pusheck is staying at L. E. Moh’s.

H. Dietrich bough a team of horses of D. Gluch last Saturday.

Fred Grade made a business trip to Granton Tuesday.

That’s right Mr. Lynn there is nothing like having a regulator in the neighborhood.

School will close Friday for a two weeks vacation.

All signs are pointing to a cold spring. The other day when A. Pusheck started a fire in his sugar bush arch he noticed that the draft was not as good as usual, so upon examination he found that a ground hog had crawled up the stove pipe evidently with the intention to keep warm.

Louis Sternitzky was seen on the St. Paul road track Sunday with a banjo midway between Lynn and Lindsay. What his object is of avoiding the public highway ant taking a tie pass is not known.
