Romadka (7 April 1911)
Warren McClaflin is reported seriously ill. Dr. Ross is attending him.
Joe Berd sawed wood for Carl Retta on Friday.
Our neighborhood was stirred up by a mild sensation Saturday when it became known that one of our old neighbors, John Robinson had sold his forty to Frank Rogers; consideration $2450 for land, stock and all machinery. The new owner will take possession about the middle of this week. Mrs. Robinson and children will leave immediately for Edgerton visiting relatives there where Mr. Robinson will join them later. They intend to move down to the Sunflower state, trying their good luck there.
Mr. and Mrs. Justin Johnson and family took dinner Sunday at McMahon’s.
Fred Jacobi has charge of the milk route again this summer.
Ernest Schlinsog visited his brother August, Sunday.
Willie Jacobi has quit his job at Anderegg’s and is now home helping his father.
Election is a thing of the past again.
