Foemmel’s Corners (7 April 1911)

 

Frank Rogers has bought the J. Robinson farm and expects to take possession soon.

 

John Pietenpol and family Sundayed at Fisk Lee’s

 

Mrs. W. J. Davis and baby Ersula returned from Sheboygan Saturday to attend Miss Jeanie who was take suddenly ill with pneumonia.

 

Al Nonhof and family attended services at the M. D. Church at York Center Sunday.

 

Ed Soles and Ed Graves hauled lumber through here Saturday to York Center for the addition which is being built onto the Woodmen Hall.

 

Truman Davis, wife and daughter Lila spent Sunday afternoon at W. S. Davis’.

 

Al Nonhof sold his driving horse at Albert Mabie.

 

Mrs. Heck lost 4½ dozen can rubbers when she moved away. They were found by Eldred Davis. She may have same by calling for them.

 

Joe Lastofka hauls milk for Krejci, Nonhof, Davis, Foemmel, Frei and Ackerman to the county farm factory.

 

Emil Krause worked for Truman Davis several days this week.

 

John Pietenpol last a valuable cow the first of the week with enlargement of the heart.

 

Mrs. Joe Lastofka entertained the wood sawyers this week.

 

What was the matter with our correspondents last week?

 

Fred Foemmel Jr. made cheese here Saturday.
