News intended for last week
Mr. and Mrs. Norman Liebzeit entertained at their home Sunday in honor of their daughter, Barbara, on her confirmation. Those present were: Mrs. Clara Liebzeit, Mrs. Laura Humke and son, Elmer, Mr. and Mrs. Eldore Humke and family, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Liebzeit and family, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Liebzeit, Mr. and Mrs. Arvin Liebzeit, all of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Gary Ziegler of Milwaukee, Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Ziegler of Neillsville, Roger Standiford of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Cook and Diane Liebzeit of Marshfield. In the afternoon Mr. and Mrs. Roger Liebzeit and Heidi were present.
Mrs. Godfrey Dyre, Mrs. Mike Bolf and Mrs. Jake Barr spent last Thursday at Delavan. Their children, Jane Dyre, Jack Barr and Roger Bolf who attend school there, returned home with them to spend Easter.
Mr. and Mrs. James Goetz and sons of Marshfield, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Kurch and sons of Wausau, and Miss Nellie Sharp of Glenwood City spent Easter Sunday at the Fred Clintsman home.
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Liebzeit and daughter, Heidi, were Easter Sunday dinner guests of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Jacobi, in Loyal.
Miss Betty Arch of Milwaukee spent the Easter vacation with her brother and family, the Ernest Arch’s.
Mrs. Paul Marg of Eau Claire and Mrs. Mary Barr were Easter supper guests at the Clark Hatton home.
Mrs. Martha Meinholdt spent Easter Sunday with Mrs. Alma Mason in Greenwood.
Mrs. Ernest Arch and Jim and Mrs. Lawrence Celar visited at the Clark Hatton home last week.
Mrs. Paul Marg of Eau Claire spent the Easter weekend with her mother, Mrs. Mary Barr.
Mrs. Emma Bostwick spent Friday at the Craig Asplin home in Greenwood.
Mr. and Mrs. George Stark visited with Eleanor Schwarze at the Henry Nielsen home Wednesday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Pakiz spent Easter Sunday at the Mirko Pakiz home.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Schuster and Mrs. Lawrence Celar were Easter dinner guests at the Fred Barr home. Mrs. Paul Marg of Eau Claire and Mrs. Mary Barr called on them in the afternoon.
Mrs. Ralph Dusso and sons of Appleton spent Saturday afternoon with Eleanor Schwarze at the Henry Nielsen home.
Roger Dillenbeck, who attends school at River Falls, spent the Easter vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Dillenbeck.
Misses Betty and Karen Arch called at the Clark Hatton home Saturday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Bloedern of Marengo, Ill., spent from Friday until Sunday at the Jake Barr home.
Mr. and Mrs. Henry Nielsen and family spent Sunday afternoon at the Henry Laube home at Owen. Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze of Owen were guests there also.
Roger Dillenbeck and Carole Dillenbeck of Marshfield, Roger Dillenbeck of River Falls and Delmain Toburen were Easter dinner guests at the Harold Dillenbeck home.
Mr. and Mrs. Jake Dechman and Mrs. John Bergant and sons Frank and John of Willard, visited friends of the Dechmans at Tigerton one day last week.
Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Schwarze of Owen spent Sunday night and Monday at the Henry Nielsen home.
Mrs. Frances Dechman of Willard celebrated her 84th birthday at her home April 1, with gifts and cards from friends.
