Roehl, Russell (8 March 1915 - 16 April 1963)

 

Funeral services for Russell Roehl, 48, Route 2, Loyal, who was killed in a tractor accident, were held Friday afternoon in the Evangelical United Brethren Church at Chili. Rev. L. L. McCormick officiated and burial was made in the parish cemetery.

 

Pallbearers were Norbert, Erwin, and Leonard Noeldner, Art Behnke, Ray Horn and Frank Morris.  Mrs. F. L. Schilling and Mrs. William G. Lindow sang, "Life’s Railway to Heaven" and "Jesus, Lover of my Soul."  They were accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Albert Grimm.

 

Attending the services from away were Mr. and Mrs. Frank Roehl, Hancock; Mr. and Mrs. Leo Kraus and Beverly, Stevens Point; Mr. and Mrs. William Carstensen, Wileen and Velda Levanduske, Mr. and Mrs. William Roehl, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Roehl, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Embke, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lindow, Mr. and Mrs. George Frei, Neillsville;  Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Roehl, Vivian, Dinah and Kenneth, Mrs. Jerry Bares, Mrs. Chuck Schueler, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Roehl, Charles Lindow and Marian, Mrs. Franz Zimmerman, Mr. and Mrs. John Lima and daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Bandt, Marshfield; Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Roehl, Wisconsin Rapids; Mr. and Mrs. James Lee, Wautoma; Mr. and Mrs. William Stuhr, Stratford; Amos Lindow, Janesville; and Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Kuester, Hillsboro.
