Dick Downer and our cheesemaker Mr. Gerlach made a trip to Granton one day last week.

 

Ed Coil is rushing the wood business again this winter.  Lee Chapel is being his right Bauer.

 

Pete Madler is still loading wood for J.P. Kintzele at Romadka.

 

Mrs. Eva Canfield, with a couple of friends from Nebraska were seen on our streets one day last week.

 

Mr. and Mrs. J. Baker called on Mrs. Noble Downer Monday a.m.

 

Wake up you Romadka pencil pusher and let us know who your school mam is.

 

Orring Montgomery had a stone bee Tuesday.  He is going to build a fine barn in another year.

 

Report has it that Cora Staley and Ralph Overmyer are married.  She was formerly of this place, but now of Gary, Ind.

 

Our little Saw mill at Harris Spur is doing a railroad business, if you don’t believe it, give us a trial.

 

Nearly all of the children in this neighborhood are sick with colds or measles.

 

Loyal Jordan is on the sick list again, also Mrs. Am Martin and baby.
