Jenkot, Nellie (3 JAN 1887 - 20 SEP 1958)
Mrs. Peter Jenkot, 71 years, 8 months and 17 days, passed away Sat. Sept. 20, 1958 at St. Joseph’s Hospital at Chippewa Falls, after a serious illness.
Mrs. Jenkot was born in Poland and came to America in 1905 living in Chicago for five years. In 1910 she married Peter Jenkot at Chicago, Ill., and they then moved to the town of Hixon and farmed until 1950, when they retired and moved to Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.).
She is survived by her husband, Peter Jenkot, two sons, Andrew of Chicago, Steve of Grafton, Wis., one daughter (Anna) Mrs. Henry Jasinski of North Chicago, Ill., four grandchildren, one great-grandchild and one brother and one sister in Poland.
Three sons, Joe, Ted, and Frank preceded Mrs. Jenkot in death.
Funeral services were held at St. Hedwig’s Chapel on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m., burial was in the parish cemetery.
Pallbearers were Joe Rogalski, Joe Kaminski, Victor Lobacz, Frank Kroll, Anton Jarosz, Steve Ratajczyk.
Out of town relatives attending the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. Andrew Jenkot of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Jasinski and family, North Chicago, Steve Jenkot, Grafton, Wis., Mrs. Ed Gomolinski, Lorrain Letevin and daughter of Chicago, and Steve Ratajczyk of Cicero, Ill.
