Foemmel’s Corners (14 April 1911)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Geo Hales are at home now on their farm known as the Wm. Smithers farm.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Heck drove through here Monday on their way to Granton.

 

John Pietenpol and family Sundayed at H. J. Pietenpol’s

 

A cheese meeting was held Monday evening at the county farm factory at which a large crowd was present.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Truman Davis and children, Mrs. Almira Coil, Ed. Coil and family spent Sunday at the John Breese home.

 

Frank Davis, wife and son Harry took dinner at the Truman Davis’ Tuesday.

 

Mrs. Fradette who has been laid up with rheumatism for several weeks past is some better.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Nonhof and son Glen were guests of Dr. and Mrs. P. M. Ross Sunday.

 

Miss Wilke is sewing for Mrs. John Pietenpol this week.

 

Mrs. Gottlieb Krause called on Mrs. Tischer who is very sick at the home of her daughter Mrs. Price Lee.

 

Grandpa Nonhof returned Wednesday from his visit in Sheboygan.

 

Truman Davis and Wm. Foemmel worked on the road Wednesday with the road drag.

 

Eldred Davis and Joe Hefty were sick the first of the week with indigestion.

 

Mrs. Freeman Dankemyer came Saturday and stayed until Tuesday with her parents.

 

Mrs. Chas. Hayden visited her sister Mrs. John Breese Tuesday.

 

Mr. Louis Hayden is engaged to work for W. P. Budge for the summer.  He has rented rooms in the Elmer Dennis house for his family.
