Neillsville Area Locals (9 May 1963)

 

Mrs. Charles E. Bollom was hostess to her bridge club Tuesday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Norman and granddaughter, Diane, and Mrs. Jack Hagie and son of Marshfield, visited one day last week with Mr. and Mrs. Marlon Marks in Wautoma.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Matt Gassen and Miss Ferne Robinson returned Saturday from a vacation trip to Hawaii.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Bruno Woodzick spent the weekend in Chicago, Ill., and attended the wedding of a niece.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Temte spent several days last week in Chicago attending the Tri-State hospital convention. While there they also visited Miss Jeanette Temte.

 

Mrs. Gladys Gillard and Mrs. Estella Dux are patients in Memorial Hospital.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Charles Swenson of Marshfield spent the weekend at the John Swenson and Roy Sitzman homes.

 

Joseph Spangler spent a few days last week with relatives in Milwaukee.

 

Eldred Elmhorst of Minneapolis spent the weekend visiting relatives in Neillsville and Granton.  He was accompanied by Ronald Scholtz, also of Minnesota.

 

Grace Daniels visited relatives and friends in Wild Rose and Greenbush from Friday until Tuesday.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Thad Zajac attended a concert in Eau Claire Sunday night given by the concert band of Wisconsin State College.  Miss Cherylynne Zajac, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Zajac, plays a French horn in the band.

 

Mrs. Ted Dux and daughter visited Tuesday afternoon with Mrs. Ray Clausnitzer and new daughter, Jane Ellen, in Marshfield.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Martin Feuerstein spent the weekend with their daughter, Mrs. Gilbert Frank, and her family in Oshkosh. They left from Oshkosh Monday morning for Two Rivers, where they attended funeral services for Mr. Feuerstein’s aunt.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Donald Noll and son of Red Wing, Minn., plan to spend the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Noll and Mr. and Mrs. Martin Feuerstein.

 

Dave Gorman left Tuesday afternoon for Madison, where he entered the Veterans hospital.
