Globe (9 May 1963)

 

Rev. J. G. Ruege took very sick on Thursday afternoon and was taken by ambulance to the hospital in Marshfield.  He was still a patient there at this writing.  He is due for surgery.  As reported it may be soon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Klauer and son of Milwaukee, and his sister, Mrs. George Oleson of Oconomowoc, came Saturday evening and visited their father, Paul Klauer, who is in Memorial Hospital in Neillsville.  Sunday afternoon they returned to their home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kalsow entertained on Saturday evening in honor of Mrs. Kalsow and her daughter-in-law, Mrs. Wilbur Hagen, whose birthdays it was.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Beyer and family took Miss Lila Sackett, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Sackett, back to her home Sunday evening after being a house guest for a week at the Robert Beyer home.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Herman Hagen, Donald Kalsow and Mrs. Raymond Kalsow spent Sunday evening with Mr. and Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and family, it being the birthdays of Mrs. Wilbur Hagen and Mrs. Raymond Kalsow.

 

Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow called on Mrs. Martha Hoffmann Friday afternoon.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Louis Dux and family visited Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Henchen and family Sunday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. John Poppe visited Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Christopherson in Neillsville Sunday evening.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Lebrecht Kalsow called on Paul Klauer at the hospital and were supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Kalsow and daughter Friday evening.

 

Mrs. Paul Klauer has been making daily trips to Memorial Hospital to be with her husband, who was still a patient there at this writing.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thoma and family visited her parents Sunday afternoon and had supper with them. Also guests were Debra, Danny and David Dux
