Neillsville Area Locals (16 May 1963)

 

Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Smith had as their guests for Mother’s Day dinner: Mr. and Mrs. Fred Buchholz, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Buchholz and family of Christie; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Buchholz and family of Greenwood; Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Mueller and family of Greenwood, and Mr. and Mrs. Leland Appleyard and Vicki of Cameron.

 

Mr. and Mrs. Harry Frantz and daughter left Friday for Ft. Atkinson, where on Sunday they attended funeral services for Mrs. Sam Goddard, the former Helen Frantz, a sister of Harry.  Others from Neillsville who attended the funeral were Mr. and Mrs. Paul Volkmann, Rudolph Frantz and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Frantz.

 

Miss Elsie Wolf and Mrs. Violet Biggs have returned from Milwaukee, where they spent several days with relatives.

 

Sunday visitors at the Hugh Howard home were Mr. and Mrs. Doyle Baker, Connie and Ronnie, and his girl friend, Marlene Bask of Elgin, Ia.

 

Miss Lois Howard of Milwaukee spent the Mother’s Day weekend with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hugh Howard.

 

Mr. and Mrs. William Tullis were visitors at the Ralph Short home Sunday afternoon.

 

A group of relatives and close friends surprised Mrs. Tillie Chadwick on her birthday last Thursday evening.  Hostesses were Mrs. Robert and Mrs. Jim Chadwick. The party was held at the Robert Chadwick home. Guests included Mr. and Mrs. Leo Wasserburger, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wasserburger, Mr. and Mrs. Carl Kessler, Miss Gladys Parrett, August Janke and Mrs. Nina Blackman, and he hostesses and their families.
