Sherwood (16 May 1963)
Mrs. Carlson of Rockford spent Mother’s Day weekend with her daughter, Mrs. Chester Freedlund, and her family. She rode here with Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Schafer and son, and Arvil Schafer.
Arvil Schafer remained home as the factory he works in is on strike.
Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Fields called on Mrs. Rugna Freedlund at Harold Freedlund’s Saturday morning.
Mr. and Mrs. Francis Jacobson joined Mr. and Mrs. Roy Chase of York Center, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Karlen of Monticello, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence VandeBerg of Marshfield, and were taken out to dinner by the ladies’ father, Roy Lawrence, Sunday in honor of Mother’s Day. They spent the afternoon visiting at the VandeBerg home in Marshfield.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gehre, and Mrs. Maveus of Nekoosa called on the John Fluegels Tuesday afternoon.
