Ambelang, William (87th Birthday - 12 May 1963)
William Ambelang of the Town of Hewett observed his 87th birthday Sunday. Mr. Ambelang has resided for more than 50 years on his present farm, and served the Town of Hewett as its chairman over 30 years, retiring from public affairs due to failing health. He was interested in reforestation and was one of the leaders in planting pine on tax deeded land. Mr. and Mrs. Ambelang were joined Sunday by their son, Harry Ambelang, and his family.
