Tischer, Louise (1845 - 16 April 1911)

The last chapter in the worthy life of Mrs. Louise Tischer was enacted here last Sunday morning when through heart failure her soul winged its flight from its early tenement residing in the home of her daughter Louise, Mrs. Price Lee, to that heavenly home where loved ones gone before are waiting to welcome us.

The deceased was born in Germany in 1845 and there married to Carl Tischer in 1873.  Eight children were born to them, four of whom with Mr. Tischer have preceded her in death. Those surviving being Louise, Mrs. Price Lee; Christine, Mrs. Geo. Nichols, both of this place; Carl Tischer of Lentz, Oregon, and Miss Bertha of Oconomowoc.  All, with the exception of Carl were here and in attendance at the funeral which was held from the Adventist Church Tuesday afternoon with Wilson Mallory of the Disciple Church, of which deceased was a member, officiating.  Interment was made in the Windfall Cemetery.  The pallbearers were Messrs John P. Kintzele, August and Will Happe, John Breese, A. J. Knorr and P. J. Kemmeter.
