Harlen Kintzele, who had his birthday last week, was given a party Saturday to members of his age. All present had an enjoyable time.
Mrs. Dora Garbisch attended church at Mapleworks Sunday.
Mrs. Frank Downer came home last Wednesday from the Hahnemann Hospital in Chicago, very much improved in heath.
Louis Rach, the cheesemaker, had his annual meeting Tuesday night.
Our school closed for probably two weeks on account of Miss M. Miller’s mother being very ill.
Hauling wood, bolts and logs is the chief occupation of the farmers around here.
Molly, the little daughter of Carl Retta who has been confined to her bed since Christmas, is able to be up and around again.
The Schafskopf Club will meet this coming Saturday night.
