Rowe, Joseph J. #3 (8 JAN 1822 - 21 JAN 1913)
Joseph Johnson Rowe, aged 91 years and 16 days, died at the home of his daughter, Mary Redmond of Rice Lake, on Jan. 21, 1913. Deceased was born on Jan. 8, 1822, in Philadelphia, Pa. In April 1845 he was married to Miss Martha C. Moore in Salem, N.J., and in 1856 they came to Sheboygan County and a few years later moved to Calumet County, where they resided until 1885, when they came to Clark County and settled on a farm in York where Mrs. Rowe died 22 years ago. Their wedded life was blessed with 9 children; two have preceded him in death. Six sons and one daughter survive him. They are: William of York Center, Joseph of Santa Monica, Calif., Edward of Neillsville, Byron and John of Plymouth, George of Marshfield, and Mary B. Redmond of Rice Lake.
