Charles and Arthur Helm, the Misses Martha Nitschke, Elsie Wolf, Bertha Helm and Isabella Slocomb spent Sunday with Anita Kuechenmeister.

Mrs. Bernard Jahr and daughter Clara moved to Neillsville and are cozily settled there since last week.

Clemens Kuechenmeister will long remember his 46th birthday which fell due last Sunday.  His neighbors took him by surprise and came a house full, strong.  They brought their "eats" with them and just had one of the best "spreads" and visits ever known in birthday celebrations.

Wm. Waterman Sr. still continue very ill.

Otis Slocomb was called to Loyal Friday by the attempted suicide of his brother Austin of that place.  Otis came home Saturday night and went back Sunday and remained until Austin’s son Charley arrived from Beach, N.D.  Charley has assumed the care since.  It is thought Austin will recover.  The attempt was made in a moment of temporary insanity, it appears that Austin has not be just himself since getting home from North Dakota some three weeks ago.

Inez Huckstead is dangerously ill since last Saturday.

James King is very ill with heart trouble.

Mrs. Wm. King is on the sick list.
