Mannion, Christine Renee (12 November 1942 - 17 October 2011)

Christine Renee Mannion, 68, of Harvard, IL, passed away Monday, Oct. 17, 2011, at her home.  Christine was born Nov. 12, 1942, in Quinwood, WV, to Ray Gilmer and Ethel Zane "Thorn" Hayes.  She enjoyed dancing and collecting coins and ceramic chickens.

Survivors include her two sons, James Mannion of Sterling, VA, and Jerry Mannion of Harvard, IL; a granddaughter, Erin Mannion; her former husband, James Albert Meredith; a brother, Jerry Hayes of Florida and a sister, Judy West of West Virginia.

Christine was preceded in death by her parents.

The funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Saunders & McFarlin Funeral Home, 107 W. Sumner St. Harvard, IL, with visitation from 3 to 4 p.m.
