Ustruck, Stanley (16 APR 1897 - 27 NOV 1958)
Stanley Ustruck, 61, a former Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.) resident, died suddenly of a heart attack following Thanksgiving dinner last Thursday at the home of his son, Willard, in Milwaukee, Wis.
Stanley, with his wife and family moved to Milwaukee in 1942 from Thorp and operated a newsstand at the Wood Hospital there during the succeeding years. He had been a patient in the hospital for a short time last summer, but was in Thorp recently for the deer hunting season.
The deceased was born in Ripon, Wis. on April 16, 1897. He was united in marriage tot eh former Doris Alger of Thorp, at Sheboygan Falls, Wis. They came to Thorp soon after and he was employed as a car salesman. This was his home until 1942. He was a life member of Cecil Tormey Post No. 118 of the American Legion of Thorp.
He is survived by his wife and two sons, Willard and Richard, both of Milwaukee; five brothers, Walter of Rice Lake, Frank of Berlin, Wis., and Jack, Alex and Mike of Ripon, Wis.; three sisters, Mary Wyplsznyski of South Bend, Ind., Carrie Lange of San Francisco and Cecelia Ustruck of Buffalo, N.Y., and five grandchildren, Marsha, Mary Ellen, Michelle, Billie and Cindy of Milwaukee. He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 Monday morning, Dec. 1 at Ermenc Funeral Home in Milwaukee. Interment took place in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery there with military service at the grave by the American Legion. Pallbearers were Albert Cesar, Howard Dolezal, George Frank, Bill Emunelson, Gene Strandt and Clarence Hussman.
Relatives and friends from away who were present for the funeral were: Mr. and Mrs. John Ustruck, Mrs. Duane Nelson, Mrs. Kate Bradshaw, Mike Ustruck and Alex Ustruck, all of Ripon, Wis., Mr. and Mrs. Vincent Gulcynski, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Weinberger, Mrs. Frank Stewart and Jay Alger of Thorp, Mr. and Mrs. William Weinberger and Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Thorson and daughter Kathleen of Owen, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Alger and Mrs. Lloyd Oedrick of Ladysmith, Mr. and Mrs. earl Alger and Robert Alger of Kaukauna, Russell Ustruck of Berlin, Wis., Orville Asselin of Eau Claire, Mrs. Mary Uypiszyski of South Bend, Ind., Mr. and Mrs. Walter Ustruck of Rice Lake, Mr. and Mrs. Neal Deyo of Nelson, Ill., and Mr. and Mrs. John Schmidt of Lodi, Wis.
