Ott, Edna Mae (16 NOV 1886 - 4 DEC 1958)

 

Mrs. Edna Mae Ott, Stanley, died Thursday at Victory Memorial Hospital, following a short illness.

 

Funeral services were held at the Stanley Methodist Church at 2 p.m. Sunday.  The Rev. Cecil Ward officiated.  Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Withee.

 

She was born Edna Bobb in the town of Reseburg (Clark Co., Wis.).  She attended Ladysmith Normal School and taught school for six years.

 

In 1911 (all other accounts indicate they were married in 1910), she married Ellis Ott and they lived on a farm in the town of Reseburg until 1926, when they moved to Stanley.

 

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert Miller of Saukville, Mrs. Frances McGeouth of Genoa City and Mrs. Ray Missling of Withee; a brother, John Bobb of Zephyr Hills, Fla., four sisters, Mrs. Ray Briggs of Hayward, Mrs. Roy Bolt of Zephyr Hills, Fla., Mrs. Ray McGuire, Middleton and Mrs. Mabel Strand of Milwaukee; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchild also survive.
