Schwarze, Stanley (Co-Salutatorian GHS - 1963)

The top students in this year’s Greenwood High School graduating Class of 60 students are Mary Anne Staut, valedictorian, Marianne Herr and Stanley Schwarze, co-salutatorians. All have not only maintained outstanding scholastic records throughout their four years in high school but also have been very active in other phases of school life.

Stanley Schwarze, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Schwarze of Greenwood, is one of the school’s outstanding leaders and athletes.  He is president of the student council, president of the Letterman’s club, president of the Spanish club and co-business manager of the annual.  He has won major letters in football, basketball and volleyball the last three years.  Last fall he was picked as an all-conference end.  He represented the school at Badger Boys State as a junior.
