Edna Lawrence and son William spent Friday night and part of Saturday with Horace Lawrence and family on the Ridge.
The ladies aid at Mrs. John Vande Berg’s Wednesday was quite well attended although it was a very cold day. Proceeds were $2.70.
Quite a few farmers in this vicinity have been busy the past week hauling logs and bolts to Granton.
Rev. Bender, the district superintendent, will occupy the M.E. pulpit Sunday afternoon.
Dan Timerson and Ernest Rowe helped Earl Lawrence haul baled hay to Romadka, Monday.
O.F. Greunke sold his cheese factory to a man from Plymouth. The patrons are all sorry he has sold out, as they were well pleased with the returns they received from their milk.
Roy Lawrence and family, Horace Lawrence and family, and Chas. Campbell and wife spent Sunday at Mrs. E.M. Lawrence’s.
Mrs. J. Vande Berg is on the sick list at this writing.
Miss Brooks gave the scholars a Valentine box Thursday. It was enjoyed by all, especially the smaller scholars.
