Handrick, Germaine (Marriage - 18 May 1963)

A double ring ceremony was performed May 18 in St. John’s Catholic Church in Marshfield, uniting in marriage Miss Germaine Handrick of Marshfield, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Handrick, and Norbert Hoeser, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hoeser of Rt. 1, Neillsville.  The Rt. Rev. Msgr. A. N. Schuh performed the ceremony before an altar adorned with baskets of pink gladioli and white chrysanthemums.

The bride was attired in a floor length gown of Chantilly lace and taffeta with a full bouffant skirt featuring a panel of ruffled lace in tiers.  Her fitted bodice was highlighted by a Sabrina neckline encrusted with pearls and sequins and long, tapered sleeves.  A crown of pearls and sequins held a double-tiered nylon tulle veil.  White carnations, pink rosebuds and greens made up her bridal bouquet.

LaVern Handrick gave his sister in marriage. Miss Gloria Jean Handrick was maid of honor.  The groom was attended by his brother, Phil Hoeser of Eau Claire.  Melvin and Harold Spencer were ushers.

A wedding reception was held Saturday evening at their farm home on Rt. 1 Neillsville.
