Coyle, Olive Marie (Marriage - 11 May 1963)
Miss Olive Marie Coyle of Granton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Coyle, and Walter R. Foemmel, Jr., of Bloomington, Minn., were married May 11, in Zion Lutheran Church in Granton by the Rev. Mr. Keller of Pittsville, who performed the double ring ceremony before an altar decked with baskets of pink snapdragons, white delphiniums and carnations.
A floor length gown of white silk organza, fashioned the bridal gown. The skirt was accented by a back peplum. The fitted bodice was styled with short embroidered sleeves. Her fingertip veil cascaded from a white pearl headpiece studded with pearls, and she carried a cascade bouquet of large red roses and lilies of the valley.
Matron of honor was Mrs. Marvin Oldham, a sister of the bride. Bridesmaids were Barbara Coyle and Joann Dahl.
The groom was attended by Silas Foemmel as bestman, and his groomsmen were William Bruggemann and Allen Sternitzky. Ushers were Erland and Byrl Dahl.
Jackie Foemmel carried the rings on a white satin pillow, and his sister, Debbie, acted as flower girl.
Mr. and Mrs. Foemmel have returned from a wedding trip to Los Angeles, Calif., and Phoenix, Ariz., and are now residing in Bloomington, Minn.
The bride has been employed in restaurant and resort work. Mr. Foemmel is an employee of an airline in Minneapolis.
