Maxon, Richard (7 November 1929 - 25 May 1963)
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon in Cedarburg for Richard Maxon, 33, who had been ill only a few days. Death was attributed to a severe case of Asiatic Flu and a diabetic, died Saturday at home there.
Mr. Maxon was born November 7, 1929, in Eau Claire and lived in Merrillan a few years before coming to Neillsville, where he resided with his grandparents, the late Mr. and Mrs. John Lastofka. He attended Northside School. He had been a resident of Cedarburg for several years.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene; a 14-month old daughter, Debbie; his stepfather and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Hackett (Mildred Lastofka), all of Cedarburg.
Richard was a nephew of Mrs. Harry Carl of Neillsville.
