(Marriage - 1 June 1963)

Miss Ida Hoffman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Edmund Hoffman of Colby became the bride of Robert Jeske, son of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Jeske of Owen in a double ring ceremony June 1, in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in  Colby.  The Rev. Fr. John Pinion performed the nuptial ceremony.

Mr. Hoffman gave his daughter in marriage. She wore a gown of white Chantilly lace over a taffeta and nylon tulle skirt. The fitted Basque bodice was styled with a Sabrina neckline that dipped to a "V" in the back, with rosettes to give interest.  Seed pearls and sequins highlighted the bodice.  A crown of seed pearls and aurora borealis crystals held her fingertip veil. She carried a bridal bouquet of pink roses and white carnations.

Miss Caroline Hoffman attended her sister as maid-of-honor.  Her bridesmaid was Mrs. Donna Jeske of Cambria.

Bestman was his brother, William Jeske of Cambria; and groomsman was Jim Hoffman of Colby.  Ushers were Larry Jeske and Ted Hoffman.

Two hundred guests attended the reception at the home of the bride.

Mrs. Jeske is a graduate of Colby Union High School and Stout State College, where she was a member of the Young Democrats of Wisconsin, the Dietetic club and the Neuman club.  Mr. Jeske also was graduated from the Colby High School, Northland College in Ashland, and Taylor County Teacher’s College.

They will reside in Owen on their return from a wedding trip to northern Wisconsin.
