Lund, Mary Ann (3 JAN 1959)
Mary Ann Lund, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Lund, and Glen Manier, son of Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Manier, were united in marriage Saturday, January 3rd, 1959 at the Stanley Church of the Brethren. Rev. Ernest Detrick officiated at the two p.m. ceremony.
Given in marriage by her father, the bride was attired in a pink nylon organdy ballerina length gown with bouffant skirt and white net overskirt and fingertip veil. She carried a heart shaped bouquet of white carnations and red roses.
The bridesmaids, Mrs. Ed Setzer, sister of the bride, and Miss Sharon Manier, sister of the groom, were attired in identical gowns of ballerina length turquois nylon organdy and carried pink and white carnations.
The groom’s attendants were Ed Setzer and James Zenner. Ushers were Robert Johnson and Alan Lund.
Vocal selections were "I Walk Beside You" by Mrs. Orville Manier accompanied by Mrs. Ernest Detrick and "Oh Perfect Love" by Mrs. Joseph Henderson and Miss Opal Henderson, accompanied by Mrs. Vernon Reppert. The wedding march was played by Mrs. Detrick.
The bride’s mother attended the wedding in a brown costume and the mother of the groom wore black and white, and each wore a corsage. The groom’s grandmothers, Mrs. Willard Henderson and Mrs. Clifford Manier also wore white corsages.
