Foemmel’s Corners (5 May 1910)
Al Nonhof and wife did shopping in Neillsville Saturday.
Mrs. Geo. Huntley met with what might have been a very serious accident last Thursday while trying to stop their team, which was running away. Vernon in coming home from the factory lost control of the horses, managed to keep his seat until they started to turn in the yard, when he was thrown into some brush near the road. Mrs. Huntley in coming to the rescue was knocked down and ran over, lying there unconscious for some time and cutting a gash in her head, besides receiving several bruises.
Eldred and Lila Davis accompanied their Grandma Breese over in North York for a visit with their great aunt Mrs. Anthony.
Mr. and Mrs. Ackerman spent Saturday with their daughter, Mrs. Roehl.
Mrs. Louis Hayden and children arrived late last week with their household goods and moved into the Wm. Budge house vacated by Walt Coil.

Mr. and Mrs. Cattanah went fishing Sunday. We didn’t learn what luck they had.
The much needed rain came at last. Joe Lastofka said there were so many ordering rains that our wants were long in being supplied.
